There are a gazillion places that you can buy a tshirt.  There are some online stores that are quite popular.  Then there’s Johnny Cupcakes.

Never before has a tshirt brand caused such a stir, with a legion of die-hard fans.  Here are some good examples of recent fanaticism.

1) The new LA store is due to open on August 2nd.  This guy had already booked a flight from Boston (where the other store is) for the opening.  Crazy.

2) June 13 2008 - news posted about some new tees going to be launched at the Boston store the following Saturday (June 21), along with some very exclusive designs available only in-store.

June 19 - there are peoplealready camping outside the store, two days in advance.

Damnnn! It’s little things like this that make me super excited to keep creating new Johnny Cupcakes’ recipes.

June 20 -  the number camping out has grown.  You’d think the new iPhone was coming out or something!

June 21 - the queue for the store was around the block. This to buy tshirts!

So I was thinking earlier about a set of tshirt types that I could blog about, and for some reason boobs came to mind. Well, I am a man after all.

So DBH made a big claim in their newsletter today.  I quote:

DBH has pushed the limits of t-shirt printing to new levels this week rising to the design challenge of the DBH Artists by printing a design deemed “unprintable” by some.

So I was excited to see the tee, headed straight to the site to see it in its full glory:

Dissapointing?  I was at least.  Sure the printing is impressive, but it’s not a tee I would ever wear.  It’s a shame but let’s hope the new technique will be put to better use soon.
