10 Batman tees

So I haven’t yet seen The Dark Knight, but from what I read it is an amazing movie.  So far on IMDB the average rating, of 47k voters, is 9.7!  And it currently stands, amazingly, at #1 in the IMDB all time top 250 movies.  Whether it will stay there remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain - I can’t wait to see it!

And while I have another day off of work, I thought I’d see what Batman related tees are out there in tshirt-land.  Here are some of the best I came across (in no particular order):

1)  Surreal looking Heath Ledger print.  SuperHeroStuff.com $18.99 (SHS had quite a selection, but this one stood out for me)

Heath Ledger Batman

2) Nice old-stlye batman print with topical “The Joker’s back in town” slogan.  80stees.com $28 (again a fair selection of quite cool Batman tees!)

Joker’s back in town

3) Old school style Batman & Robin (Robin must be really peeved that he’s been dropped as a ‘headline’ act recently!).  TeeShirtsRock.com (Junk Food brand, again have quite a selection)

Batman & Robin

4) Great shadow shot.  It’s a kid’s tee so almost got dropped, but hey it’s on sale so stuck!  OldGlory.com $10 (others in the collection, including adult, here)

Shadow

5) Another classic look.  Technically it’s another JunkFood design, but it’s at a different store so valid me thinks!  Stand-Out.net £24.99

6)  Okay I was going to just put up one design per site/designer, but these next two shirts blow my mind and Johnny Cupcakes deserves a double mention!  Plus it gives me the chance to post a hot girl … JohnnyCupcakes.com $35.99

7) This is the one I want! JohnnyCupcakes.com $35.99

8.) At #8 is a shirt that my other half owns and loves.  Threadless  $5!!! (only in girl’s sizes)

9) Well the list wouldn’t be complete without this print, eh?  You can actually get this from about a hundred online stores, but this one at LoudClothing.com £11.45 caught my eye.

10) Or if you want to be really flash (flash, geddit? I crack myself up sometimes), check this version out.  Gadgets.co.uk £19.95

Alright, I think that’ll do for now.  I’ll post my review of the film itself once I’ve been!

Another ranking

Paul from buy-tees.net decided he could outdo the recent list of tshirt blogs by Andy at HideYourArms.  While Andy listed as many blogs as he could find with a little snippet of information, Paul went all out and included info like Page Rank, Alexa ranking, and even a little image.  It must have taken many hours of work and it turned into a good resource. Good to see this blog made it onto the list again!

Chaunt

I think it’s a little harsh and petty that he left out HideYourArms because “they mainly focus on hoodies”, when he also included Thunderfrogs which is as much about horse racing tips as tshirts.  Paul seems a little bitter that Buy-Tees wasn’t included on Andy’s original list!

Bleachbot

I love reading online comics but there are so many out there it must be hard to stand out from the crowd.  Today I noticed a comment from Jeremy who produces fantastic comic strips called WTTF: Welcome to the Future.  Here is a strip I particularly enjoyed:

Anyway, the main reason for this post is not only to recognise a great site and artist, but the fact that Jeremy recently released his first ever tshirt, which I think is fantastic.  In fact I may have to add it to my wishlist!

Bleachbot

It’s American Apparel and hand bleached.  Order yours for just $15 here (it goes up to $17 in a few days).

Tee wishlist

If you are reading this and wondering what the hell is going on that there are two posts in the same day, I have hurt my back and so am sitting at home!

Anyway, the point of the post is to list a few tees on my current wishlist.  I’m weighing up whether to spend lots on a couple of shirts (such as Johnny Cupcake designs) or spread the cash around more cheaper designs (like Threadless).

1) First on the list is this design from Akumuink, a site I love and I always keep an eye on for new designs.  I don’t have one of their tees yet, but this one is near the top of this wishlist.  Cost is $22:

2) Second is this awesome design from Yackfou - actually Yackfou have about 7 tees I really want (Jesus Fights, Ramses Fights, Fucking Job and more).  Cost €35:

3) Third is one of laFraise’s many, many, odd tees!   laFraise is like Threadless on acid.  Cost €22:

4) Johnny Cupcakes makes some of the best tees on the planet, in my opinion.  It’s very hard to choose one, but as I don’t have one yet I think I’d have to start with the classic.  Cost $34.99:

5) Oh sod it, I want this one too.  Cost $35.99:

6) Finally for now (otherwise I’ll spend all day doing this), a tee from Design by Humans.  Cost $19:

Rumplo’s top tees

If you haven’t heard of Rumplo, a site dedicated to public tshirt submissions and discussions, check it out.  I have visited the site for a while but hadn’t noticed their “20 most popular tees” section.  Some of them are pretty damn cool, others I can’t really see why they are up there.  Anyway, here is by far the most popular and a couple of others I love.  Visit http://rumplo.com/tees/mostpopular/ for the rest.
